Ringo and Benny B are an unlikely pair of K9 superheroes who confront this challenging mystery.  The legendary Ringo has solved every crime he has ever worked, but he is about to meet his match … well, sort of.  His new crime-fighting partner, Benny B, is a free-spirited puppy with a wild imagination and a nose for trouble.  With the help of a 12-year old boy, Mateo, they work as a team to solve the case.  Mr. Beasley, a grumpy old Tomcat - who’s not exactly a team player – finally gets a chance to prove that cats are superior to dogs … or so he thinks.

 

In this story, Ringo and Mateo meet Benny B for the first time, and work together to stop the notorious Capitan de la Muerte, a Spanish pirate conjured from the dead by a black-hearted witch.   These two ruthless miscreants will stop at nothing to retrieve the secret satchel of the sacred scrolls.  Along the way, Ringo and Benny B encounter tenacious swashbucklers, a ship with a soul, and a world of black magic.

 

Mateo, whose life has been shattered by the death of his parents, finds happiness as he bonds with these two furry crime stoppers in extraordinary ways.  Matching wits with the pirate and the witch, Ringo and Benny B literally reach new heights in this hair-raising, tail waggin’ adventure.
